Developers' PAC (Jobs First) is pushing candidacy of two at-large councilmembers who helped engineer the gerrymander/redistricting attempt. This is yet one more indication of "cozy bedfellow politics," with citizens and the environment ignored, yet again. Check who is behind those mailers you are getting!

Greg Smith, a longtime monitor of Maryland civic matters has discovered that mailers from a PAC listed as "Jobs First" is actually three developers with projects needing council zoning approvals. The mailers promote the two at-large council members (Hawkins and Franklin) who engineered the gerrymander attempt and consistently voted with developers against regulations, environmental standards and citizens. Developers are trying to pack the council with "friendlies."
